Flourish Mentors had a super creative and collaborative workshop for young women, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, last evening and explored positive self image and negative self images and solutions!
A big thank you to Sussex Community Foundation, Red Hill Trust and The National Lottery Community Fund for helping us fund this workshop which was so inclusive, fun and participative!
Our wonderful Hannah Old Co-led to the workshop and shared her journey of how she combats social media and other messages around self image and self esteem.
We also introduced the lovely Fia from University of Brighton who is a student of Jenny Linton and who is doing work experience with us and documenting the evening!
And the wonderful Paula Melis from THE CARERS CENTRE FOR BRIGHTON & HOVE LIMITED brought several Young Carers who also participated actively.
So many levels of collaboration🫶🏼
We ended the workshop by committing to one positive action to empower ourselves.
